Architect Karel Hubácek decided to place a television transmitter, restaurant and hotel in one tower.

The construction of Ješted aroused a huge response in our country and in the world, not only because of its unique shape, but also for its unique technical solutions. During the construction in the 1970s, the authors used several completely new technologies and materials.
The accommodation on Mount Ješted is an unforgettable experience. Each of the rooms has views that you can never be offered anywhere else. Thanks to these developmental and experimental steps, the hotel was declared a cultural monument in 1998. In 2000 the building became the construction of the century in the Czech architecture. In 2006 the building was declared a national cultural monument and, subsequently, in 2007 the transmitter was added to the indicative list of UNESCO.
